The Weld Central Rebels (Keenesburg, CO) basketball felled the host Valley Vikings (Gilcrest, CO), 67-55 in Thursday's league test.

The Rebels (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Eaton (Eaton, CO). The Reds go into the 4A Patriot test with a 8-4 record. In their last test, Eaton thwarted Valley (Gilcrest, CO), 67-31, in a league test.

The Vikings now own a 2-10 record. They play next when they travel to University for a 4A Patriot test on Saturday, January 20. Valley will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 57-48 league loss to Sterling (Sterling, CO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-10.
