Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the University Bulldogs (Greeley, CO) and the visiting Weld Central Rebels (Keenesburg, CO), saw University's basketball squad hold off Weld Central by a count of 66-60.

With the victory, University upgrades its record to 5-11 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Resurrection Christian (Loveland, CO) to play the Cougars in a 4A Patriot challenge on Friday, February 2. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 12-1.

Next up, the Rebels play the Fort Morgan Mustangs (Fort Morgan, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 27. Weld Central will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record.
