Colorado High School Basketball - Weld Central tops Berthoud
February 1, 2024: Keenesburg, CO 80643 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Weld Central Rebels (Keenesburg, CO) and the visiting Berthoud Spartans (Berthoud, CO), saw Weld Central's basketball squad knock off Berthoud by a tally of 71-61.
With the victory, Weld Central improves its record to 9-8 on the campaign. The Rebels host Pueblo Centennial (Pueblo, CO) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 6-11. Pueblo Centennial lost 43-42 in their recent league challenge against Pueblo County (Pueblo, CO)
Next up, the Spartans play the University Bulldogs (Greeley, CO) in a 4A Patriot challenge, on Saturday, February 3. Berthoud will attempt to improve on its 10-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 5-12 record after their 89-37 league loss to Resurrection Christian (Loveland, CO).
