In Saturday's non-league test, the Marshall Tigers (Marshall, MN) basketball squad defeated the visiting Fairmont Cardinals (Fairmont, MN), by a final score of 61-42.

Next, the Tigers clash with the Worthington Trojans (Worthington, MN) in a AAA Section 2 test, on Tuesday, January 21. Marshall will attempt to upgrade on its 13-4 season record. The Trojans come into the test with a 3-11 record after their 65-48 non-league loss to Fairmont (Fairmont, MN).
