Minnesota High School Basketball - Marshall overwhelms New Ulm
December 3, 2024: Marshall, MN 56258 The Marshall Tigers basketball team scored 81 points and limited the visiting New Ulm Eagles to 58 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Luverne for a non-league game on Friday, December 6. Marshall will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 62-59 league win over Pipestone (Pipestone, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, New Ulm falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Jackson County Central (Jackson, MN) to confront the Huskies in a non-league game on Friday, December 6. The Huskies go into the game with a record of 1-0.
