Minnesota High School Basketball - Marshall overwhelms New Ulm
January 16, 2025: New Ulm, MN 56073 The Marshall Tigers basketball team scored 84 points and limited the host New Ulm Eagles to 43 in the Tigers league triumph on Thursday.
The Tigers now possess a 12-4 record. They play next when they host Fairmont for a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. Marshall will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 95-75 league win over Windom (Windom, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 9-4.
With the loss, New Ulm falls to 2-12 on the campaign. The Eagles host Hutchinson (Hutchinson, MN) to confront the Tigers in a AAA Section 2 game on Saturday, January 18. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 5-6. Hutchinson won 54-53 in their recent league game against Worthington (Worthington, MN)
