February 10, 2025: Willmar, MN 56201 New Ulm Eagles (New Ulm, MN) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Willmar Cardinals (Willmar, MN), 66-63 in a non-league match.
With the victory, New Ulm upgrades its record to 7-15 on the year. The Eagles host St. James (St. James, MN) to face the Saints in a non-league match on Thursday, February 13. The Saints enter the match with a record of 14-10. St. James won 59-56 in their recent non-league match against Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial (Lake Crystal, MN)
The Cardinals now sport a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Cloud Tech for a AAA Section 8 match on Friday, February 14.
