The Middletown Cavaliers basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Delcastle Technical Cougars to 37 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cavaliers now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Salesianum for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24.

The Cougars (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Brandywine (Wilmington, DE). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Brandywine ran past Hodgson Vo-Tech (Newark, DE), 57-51, in a non-league contest.
