The Somerset Academy - Canyons Cougars basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting FAU High Owls to 20 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cougars now sport a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Olympic Heights for a non-league contest on Monday, January 23. Somerset Academy - Canyons will meet a Lions team coming off a 43-41 non-league win over Spanish River (Boca Raton, FL). The Lions record now stands at 10-10.

The Owls (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Grandview Prep (Boca Raton, FL). The Pride enter the non-league contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, Grandview Prep triumphed over Boca Raton Christian (Boca Raton, FL), 66-44, in a league contest.
