Connecticut High School Basketball - Bacon Academy tops Lyman Memorial
January 19, 2024: Colchester, CT 06415 Bacon Academy Bobcats (Colchester, CT) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Lyman Memorial Bulldogs (Lebanon, CT), 48-38 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Bacon Academy upgrades its record to 3-7 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Stonington (Stonington, CT) to play the Bears in a Eastern Connecticut II bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Bears come into the bout with a record of 7-3. Stonington won 67-37 in their recent non-league bout against Scituate (North Scituate, RI)
Coming up next, the Bulldogs confront the Tourtellotte Tigers (North Grosvenordale, CT) in a Eastern Connecticut IV battle, on Tuesday, January 23. Lyman Memorial will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Tigers come into the battle with a 5-5 record after their 66-60 non-league loss to Norwich RVT (Norwich, CT).
