Nebraska High School Basketball - Bridgeport tops Perkins County

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Bridgeport Bulldogs (Bridgeport, NE) and the host Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE), saw Bridgeport's basketball squad knock off Perkins County by a count of 68-53.

With the victory, Bridgeport upgrades its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to St. Patrick's (North Platte, NE) to play the Irish in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 20. The Irish come into the challenge with a record of 11-2. St. Patrick's won 63-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Overton (Overton, NE)

Next up, the Plainsmen play the Holyoke Dragons (Holyoke, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Perkins County will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Dragons come into the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 49-41 league loss to Wray (Wray, CO).
