Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE) and the visiting Hershey Panthers (Hershey, NE), saw Perkins County's basketball squad hold off Hershey by a tally of 48-43.

With the victory, Perkins County improves its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Plainsmen host Holyoke (Holyoke, CO) to confront the Dragons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 6-4. Holyoke lost 49-41 in their recent league challenge against Wray (Wray, CO)

Next up, the Panthers confront the Bridgeport Bulldogs (Bridgeport, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 26. Hershey will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record.
