The Crespi Celts (Encino, CA) basketball felled the visiting Loyola Cubs (Los Angeles, CA), 54-39 in Friday's league test.

The Celts (20-5) will now prepare for their test against Notre Dame (SO) (Sherman Oaks, CA). The Knights go into the Mission test with a 23-0 record. In their last test, Notre Dame (SO) thwarted Crean Lutheran (Irvine, CA), 63-51, in a non-league test.
