In Friday's league match, the host Crespi Celts basketball team scored a tight 57-50 triumph over the St. Francis Golden Knights.

In their next game, the Celts meet the Canyon Comanches (Anaheim, CA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 6. Crespi will attempt to better on its 18-2 season record. The Comanches enter the match with a 12-4 record after their 81-64 non-league win over Brea Olinda (Brea, CA).
