January 19, 2024: Moretown, VT 05660 The Harwood Highlanders (Moretown, VT) basketball felled the visiting Lyndon Institute Vikings (Lyndon Center, VT), 61-51 in Friday's league test.
The Highlanders (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Lake Region (Orleans, VT). The Rangers go into the Capital test with a 7-5 record. In their last test, Lake Region was beaten by Thetford Academy (Thetford, VT), 39-28, in a league test.
The Vikings now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they travel to North Country Union for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 24. Lyndon Institute will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 77-45 non-league win over U-32 (Montpelier, VT). The Falcons record now stands at 8-4.
