California High School Basketball - Cypress crushes Pacifica

January 19, 2024: Garden Grove, CA 92845

Cypress Centurions (Cypress, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Pacifica Mariners (Garden Grove, CA), 43-22 in a league bout.

With the win, Cypress upgrades its record to 11-11 on the season. The Centurions travel to Tustin (Tustin, CA) to play the Tillers in a Empire bout on Monday, January 22. The Tillers go into the bout with a record of 13-9. Tustin lost 42-28 in their recent league bout against Crean Lutheran (Irvine, CA)

Next up, the Mariners play the Santiago Cavaliers (Garden Grove, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 20. Pacifica will attempt to upgrade on its 17-5 season record. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a 7-14 record after their 48-41 league win over Los Amigos (Fountain Valley, CA).
