Gateway Eagles (Fort Myers, FL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lehigh Lightning (Lehigh Acres, FL), 47-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Gateway upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to East Lee County (Lehigh Acres, FL) to clash with the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 27. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 6-4. East Lee County won 45-8 in their recent non-league bout against Bonita Springs (Estero, FL)

Next up, the Lightning clash with the Island Coast Gators (Cape Coral, FL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 20. Lehigh will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record.
