Bedford Bisons (Bedford, PA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Central Cambria Red Devils (Ebensburg, PA), 71-44 in a league bout.

With the victory, Bedford upgrades its record to 5-8 on the campaign. The Bisons host Westmont Hilltop (Johnstown, PA) to play the Hilltoppers in a Laurel Highlands bout on Monday, January 23. The Hilltoppers come into the bout with a record of 8-5. Westmont Hilltop won 55-38 in their recent league bout against Chestnut Ridge (New Paris, PA)

Next up, the Red Devils play the Bishop Carroll Huskies (Ebensburg, PA) in a Laurel Highlands bout, on Monday, January 23. Central Cambria will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record. The Huskies come into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 56-50 league loss to Bishop McCort (Johnstown, PA).
