The Lake Norman Charter Knights basketball team (Huntersville, NC), was overwhelmed 83-60 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC)

The Vikings now possess a 18-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Concord for a 3A Conference 48 battle on Tuesday, January 24. Central Cabarrus will confront a Spiders team coming off a 87-47 league win over East Rowan (Salisbury, NC). The Spiders record now stands at 11-6.

The Knights (8-9) will now prepare for their battle against Carson (China Grove, NC). The Cougars come into the 3A Conference 48 battle with a 8-9 record. In their last battle, Carson was overwhelmed by West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC), 72-60, in a league battle.
