Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC) and the host Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC), saw Lake Norman Charter's basketball squad overcome Carson by a tally of 62-49.

With the victory, Lake Norman Charter improves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Knights host Langtree Charter (Mooresville, NC) to confront the Lions in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 20. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 1-10. Langtree Charter lost 61-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Central Academy (Monroe, NC)

Next up, the Cougars confront the North Rowan Cavaliers (Spencer, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 20. Carson will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 79-37 non-league loss to Robinson (Concord, NC).
