In Friday's league outing, the Macon-East Montgomery Academy Knights (Cecil, AL) basketball squad edged the visiting Valiant Cross Academy Warriors (Montgomery, AL), by a count of 48-45.

The Knights (17-5) will now prepare for their outing against Chambers Academy (LaFayette, AL). The Rebels go into the non-league outing with a 5-10 record. In their last outing, Chambers Academy was tipped by Abbeville Christian Academy (Abbeville, AL), 51-44, in a league outing.
