The Springwood Wildcats basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the visiting Valiant Cross Academy Warriors to 63 in the Wildcats league victory on Saturday.

The Wildcats now sport a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Macon-East Montgomery Academy for a AISA AAA Region 1 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Springwood will battle a Knights team coming off a 51-32 non-league win over Chambers Academy (LaFayette, AL). The Knights record now stands at 18-5.

The Warriors (0-9) will now prepare for their contest against Lee-Scott Academy (Auburn, AL). The Warriors come into the AISA AAA Region 1 contest with a 22-1 record. In their last contest, Lee-Scott Academy prevailed over Southern Prep Academy (Camp Hill, AL), 94-53, in a league contest.
