In Friday's league match, the host Big Spring Steers basketball team scored a tight 31-30 triumph over the Sweetwater Mustangs.

In their next game, the Steers meet the Levelland Lobos (Levelland, TX) in a 4A Region I District 5 match, on Monday, January 23. Big Spring will attempt to move on its 8-15 season record.
