The Snyder Tigers (Snyder, TX) basketball crushed the host Big Spring Steers (Big Spring, TX), 67-23 in Friday's league test.

The Tigers (12-14) will now prepare for their test against Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TX). The Mustangs go into the 4A Region I District 5 test with a 12-14 record. In their last test, Sweetwater was trounced by Levelland (Levelland, TX), 61-20, in a league test.

The Steers now own a 6-15 record. They play next when they travel to Lake View for a 4A Region I District 5 test on Tuesday, January 17. Big Spring will encounter a Chiefs squad coming off a 95-20 league loss to Estacado (Lubbock, TX). The Chiefs record now stands at 2-19.
