Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Central Chargers (Macon, GA) and the host Southwest Patriots (Macon, GA), saw Central's basketball squad wallop Southwest by a tally of 50-7.

With the victory, Central improves its record to 17-1 on the campaign. The Chargers host Rutland (Macon, GA) to confront the Hurricanes in a AA Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a record of 1-15. Rutland lost 56-21 in their recent non-league challenge against Westside (Macon, GA)

Next up, the Patriots confront the Jordan Red Jackets (Columbus, GA) in a AA Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Southwest will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record.
