New York High School Basketball - North Tonawanda overwhelms Kenmore East
January 20, 2023: North Tonawanda, NY 14120 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the North Tonawanda Lumberjacks (North Tonawanda, NY) and the visiting Kenmore East Bulldogs (Tonawanda, NY), saw North Tonawanda's basketball squad wallop Kenmore East by a count of 78-9.
With the victory, North Tonawanda upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Lumberjacks travel to Niagara Falls (Niagara Falls, NY) to play the Wolverines in a Section 6 Niagara - Frontier challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. Niagara Falls won 52-49 in their recent league challenge against Grand Island (Grand Island, NY)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the West Seneca West Indians (West Seneca, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 26. Kenmore East will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 61-45 league loss to Orchard Park (Orchard Park, NY).
