New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds (New Ulm, MN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Madelia Blackhawks (Madelia, MN), 67-49 in a league bout.

With the victory, New Ulm Cathedral upgrades its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Minnesota Valley Lutheran (New Ulm, MN) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Chargers come into the bout with a record of 12-2. Minnesota Valley Lutheran won 68-28 in their recent league bout against Blue Earth (Blue Earth, MN)
