The Poly Parrots basketball team (Fort Worth, TX), was overwhelmed 70-34 in Friday's league battle with the host Saginaw Rough Riders (Saginaw, TX)

The Rough Riders now possess a 10-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Hills for a 5A Region I District 7 battle on Tuesday, January 25. Saginaw will battle a Scorpions team coming off a 92-26 league loss to Wyatt (Fort Worth, TX). The Scorpions record now stands at 0-19.

The Parrots (1-13) will now prepare for their battle against Southwest (Fort Worth, TX). The Raiders come into the 5A Region I District 7 battle with a 4-13 record.
