The Elkhorn Valley Falcons topped the host Boyd County Spartans basketball team by a final score of 52-39 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Falcons face the Osmond/Randolph Hawks (Osmond, NE) in a C2 District 7 game, on Monday, January 23. Elkhorn Valley will attempt to move on its 13-1 season record. The Hawks enter the game with a 2-9 record after their 59-42 league loss to Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] (Clearwater, NE).
