California High School Basketball - Washington Union can't hold off Clovis
January 21, 2023: Fresno, CA 93706 The Clovis Cougars basketball team scored 46 points and held the host Washington Union Panthers to 44 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Cougars now sport a 13-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clovis West for a Tri-Rivers contest on Tuesday, January 24. Clovis will battle a Golden Eagles team coming off a 80-40 league win over Buchanan (Clovis, CA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 21-2.
The Panthers (12-10) will now prepare for their contest against Kerman (Kerman, CA). The Lions enter the Tri-County - Sequoia contest with a 14-7 record. In their last contest, Kerman nudged Coalinga (Coalinga, CA), 77-61, in a non-league contest.
