January 21, 2023: Naperville, IL 60564 The Plainfield East Bengals (Plainfield, IL) basketball nipped the host Neuqua Valley Wildcats (Naperville, IL), 50-45 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bengals (10-10) will now prepare for their test against Oswego East (Oswego, IL). The Wolves go into the SouthWest Prairie test with a 18-5 record. In their last test, Oswego East was tipped by Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL), 69-60, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 16-7 record. They play next when they host Maine East for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 24. Neuqua Valley will encounter a Blue Demons squad coming off a 49-47 league loss to Deerfield (Deerfield, IL). The Blue Demons record now stands at 12-9.
