The Washington Hatchets basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the host Pike Central Chargers to 48 in the Hatchets league victory on Saturday.

The Hatchets now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gibson Southern for a Pocket contest on Saturday, January 28.

The Chargers (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Evansville Memorial (Evansville, IN). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Evansville Memorial edged Evansville Harrison (Evansville, IN), 73-53, in a league contest.
