Pike Central Chargers (Petersburg, IN) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Vincennes Lincoln Alices (Vincennes, IN), 64-62 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pike Central upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Chargers host Forest Park (Ferdinand, IN) to play the Rangers in a Pocket bout on Friday, December 2. The Rangers go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Forest Park won 56-35 in their recent non-league bout against Crawford County (Marengo, IN)

Next up, the Alices play the Evansville Reitz Panthers (Evansville, IN) in a Southern Indiana bout, on Friday, December 2. Vincennes Lincoln will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
