Indiana High School Basketball - Pike Central nudges Heritage Hills

January 13, 2023: Lincoln City, IN 47552

In Friday's league outing, the Pike Central Chargers (Petersburg, IN) basketball squad nipped the host Heritage Hills Patriots (Lincoln City, IN), by a margin of 72-70.

The Chargers (7-3) will now prepare for their outing against Wood Memorial (Oakland City, IN). The Trojans go into the non-league bout with a 4-6 record. In their last bout, Wood Memorial held off Washington Catholic (Washington, IN), 64-40, in a league bout.

Next up, the Patriots play the Tecumseh Braves (Lynnville, IN) in a Pocket bout, on Saturday, January 14. Heritage Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Braves go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 62-57 league loss to North Posey (Poseyville, IN).
