January 22, 2024: Keota, IA 52248 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Keota Eagles (Keota, IA) and the visiting B-G-M Bears (Brooklyn, IA), saw Keota's basketball squad wallop B-G-M by a tally of 87-54.
With the victory, Keota improves its record to 13-0 on the campaign. The Eagles host English Valleys (North English, IA) to play the Bears in a South Iowa Cedar challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 3-12. English Valleys won 76-20 in their recent non-league challenge against Cedar Valley Christian (Cedar Rapids, IA)
Next up, the Bears play the Montezuma Braves (Montezuma, IA) in a South Iowa Cedar challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. B-G-M will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 8-7 record after their 55-38 league loss to Lynnville-Sully (Sully, IA).
