Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Athens knocks off Canton

In Wednesday's league contest, the host Athens Wildcats basketball team scored a good 52-41 win over the Canton Warriors.

The Wildcats (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Northeast Bradford (Rome, PA). The Panthers come into the Northern Tier contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Northeast Bradford was topped by North Penn-Mansfield (Mansfield, PA), 74-49, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Towanda Black Knights (Towanda, PA) in a Northern Tier contest, on Friday, January 24. Canton will attempt to better on its 5-10 season record.
