The North Penn-Liberty Mountie (Liberty, PA) basketball were winner over the visiting Canton Warriors (Canton, PA), 63-48 in Thursday's league bout.

The Mountie now possess a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Sayre for a Northern Tier bout on Tuesday, January 14. North Penn-Liberty will play a Redskins team coming off a 58-33 league win over Northeast Bradford (Rome, PA). The Redskins record now stands at 8-3.

With the loss, Canton falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Troy (Troy, PA) to play the Trojans in a Northern Tier bout on Saturday, January 11. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Troy won 58-23 in their recent league bout against Athens (Athens, PA)
