Washington High School Basketball - Mt. Baker bested by Nooksack Valley
January 22, 2025: Everson, WA 98247 Nooksack Valley Pioneers (Everson, WA) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Mt. Baker Mountaineers (Deming, WA), 57-44 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Nooksack Valley advances its record to 13-0 on the year. The Pioneers host Lynden Christian (Lynden, WA) to face the Lyncs in a non-league match on Thursday, January 23. The Lyncs enter the match with a record of 11-1. Lynden Christian won 67-48 in their recent non-league match against Squalicum (Bellingham, WA)
The Mountaineers now own a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oak Harbor for a non-league match on Friday, January 24. Mt. Baker will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 51-39 non-league win over Blaine (Blaine, WA). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-9.
