January 23, 2023: Somerset, PA 15501 The Somerset Eagles basketball team (Somerset, PA), was overwhelmed 102-46 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Greater Johnstown Trojans (Johnstown, PA)
The Trojans now possess a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central for a Laurel Highlands battle on Wednesday, January 25. Greater Johnstown will confront a Dragons team coming off a 71-42 league win over Chestnut Ridge (New Paris, PA). The Dragons record now stands at 15-0.
The Eagles (3-12) will now prepare for their battle against Richland (Johnstown, PA). The Rams come into the Laurel Highlands battle with a 8-8 record. In their last battle, Richland was overwhelmed by Bishop McCort (Johnstown, PA), 66-61, in a league battle.
