Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Richland nips Somerset

Richland Rams (Johnstown, PA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Somerset Eagles (Somerset, PA), 64-59 in a league bout.

With the victory, Richland upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Bishop Guilfoyle (Altoona, PA) to play the Marauders in a Laurel Highlands bout on Friday, December 16. The Marauders come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Bishop Guilfoyle lost 61-38 in their recent league bout against Central (Martinsburg, PA)

Next up, the Eagles confront the Bishop McCort Crushers (Johnstown, PA) in a Laurel Highlands challenge, on Friday, December 16. Somerset will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Crushers come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 66-47 league loss to Forest Hills (Sidman, PA).
