January 23, 2023: Spring Valley, MN 55975 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Spring Grove Lions (Spring Grove, MN) and the host Kingsland Knights (Spring Valley, MN), saw Spring Grove's basketball squad wallop Kingsland by a tally of 72-37.
With the victory, Spring Grove improves its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Lions host Schaeffer Academy (Rochester, MN) to play the Lions in a A Section 1 challenge on Thursday, January 26. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 9-7. Schaeffer Academy won 69-46 in their recent league challenge against LeRoy-Ostrander (LeRoy, MN)
Next up, the Knights play the LeRoy-Ostrander Cardinals (LeRoy, MN) in a A Section 1 challenge, on Thursday, January 26. Kingsland will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 2-12 record after their 69-46 league loss to Schaeffer Academy (Rochester, MN).
