Minnesota High School Basketball - Schaeffer Academy nudges Kingsland
February 14, 2023: Spring Valley, MN 55975 In Tuesday's league outing, the Schaeffer Academy Lions (Rochester, MN) basketball squad edged the host Kingsland Knights (Spring Valley, MN), by a margin of 75-71.
The Lions (14-9) will now prepare for their outing against Mabel-Canton (Mabel, MN). The Cougars go into the A Section 1 outing with a 10-12 record. In their last outing, Mabel-Canton was tipped by Glenville-Emmons (Glenville, MN), 92-81, in a league outing.
The Knights now own a 9-13 record. They play next when they travel to Houston for a A Section 1 outing on Thursday, February 16. Kingsland will clash with a Hurricanes squad coming off a 75-43 league loss to Schaeffer Academy (Rochester, MN). The Hurricanes record now stands at 5-19.
