Minnesota High School Basketball - Schaeffer Academy trounces Grand Meadow
January 5, 2023: Grand Meadow, MN 55936 The Schaeffer Academy Lions (Rochester, MN) basketball crushed the host Grand Meadow Superlarks (Grand Meadow, MN), 67-44 in Thursday's league test.
The Lions (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Mabel-Canton (Mabel, MN). The Cougars go into the A Section 1 test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Mabel-Canton walloped Kingsland (Spring Valley, MN), 63-59, in a league test.
The Superlarks now own a 0-11 record. They play next when they travel to Spring Grove for a A Section 1 test on Tuesday, January 10. Grand Meadow will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 61-54 non-league win over Loyola (Mankato, MN). The Lions record now stands at 4-1.
