Minnesota High School Basketball - Schaeffer Academy tops Grand Meadow
February 9, 2023: Rochester, MN 55906 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Schaeffer Academy Lions (Rochester, MN) and the visiting Grand Meadow Superlarks (Grand Meadow, MN), saw Schaeffer Academy's basketball squad knock off Grand Meadow by a tally of 67-53.
With the victory, Schaeffer Academy improves its record to 12-9 on the campaign. The Lions host Houston (Houston, MN) to play the Hurricanes in a A Section 1 challenge on Monday, February 13. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a record of 5-18. Houston lost 60-49 in their recent league challenge against Wabasha-Kellogg (Wabasha, MN)
Next up, the Superlarks play the Spring Grove Lions (Spring Grove, MN) in a A Section 1 challenge, on Friday, February 17. Grand Meadow will attempt to improve on its 1-18 season record.
