Minnesota High School Basketball - Schaeffer Academy overwhelms Mabel-Canton
February 16, 2023: Mabel, MN 55954 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Schaeffer Academy Lions (Rochester, MN) and the host Mabel-Canton Cougars (Mabel, MN), saw Schaeffer Academy's basketball squad wallop Mabel-Canton by a tally of 69-42.
With the victory, Schaeffer Academy improves its record to 15-9 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Lanesboro (Lanesboro, MN) to confront the Burros in a A Section 1 challenge on Friday, February 24. The Burros come into the challenge with a record of 16-7.
Next up, the Cougars confront the Southland Rebels (Adams, MN) in a A Section 1 challenge, on Saturday, February 18. Mabel-Canton will attempt to improve on its 10-13 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 11-9 record after their 101-51 league win over LeRoy-Ostrander (LeRoy, MN).
