Cypress Ranch Mustangs (Houston, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Cypress Park Tigers (Cypress, TX), 70-55 in a league bout.

With the victory, Cypress Ranch upgrades its record to 20-8 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Bridgeland (Cypress, TX) to play the Bears in a 6A Region II District 16 bout on Friday, January 26. The Bears come into the bout with a record of 16-11. Bridgeland lost 53-43 in their recent league bout against Cypress Falls (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Tigers play the Cypress Lakes Spartans (Katy, TX) in a 6A Region II District 16 bout, on Friday, January 26. Cypress Park will attempt to upgrade on its 10-16 season record.
