The Waxahachie Indians basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the host Cypress Ranch Mustangs to 59 in the Indians non-league victory on Saturday.

The Indians now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lancaster for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Waxahachie will battle a Tigers team coming off a 69-53 non-league win over Bellaire (Bellaire, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 8-5.

The Mustangs (12-4) will now prepare for their contest against Cypress Park (Cypress, TX). The Tigers come into the 6A Region II District 16 contest with a 6-7 record.
