The Cypress Creek Cougars basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the visiting Waxahachie Indians to 54 in the Cougars non-league victory on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cy-Fair for a 6A Region III District 17 contest on Friday, December 15. Cypress Creek will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 71-66 non-league loss to Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 5-5.

The Indians (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Clear Springs (League City, TX). The Chargers come into the non-league contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Clear Springs prevailed over Cypress Lakes (Katy, TX), 51-26, in a non-league contest.
