Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Cypress Ranch Mustangs (Houston, TX) and the visiting Cypress Creek Cougars (Houston, TX), saw Cypress Ranch's basketball squad hold off Cypress Creek by a tally of 61-60.

With the victory, Cypress Ranch improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Stratford (Houston, TX) to confront the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Monday, November 20. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Cougars confront the Manvel Mavericks (Manvel, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, November 16. Cypress Creek will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Mavericks come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 61-56 non-league loss to George Ranch (Richmond, TX).
