Kentucky High School Basketball - Daviess County tops Meade County
January 23, 2024: Owensboro, KY 42303 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Daviess County Panthers (Owensboro, KY) and the visiting Meade County Green Waves (Brandenburg, KY), saw Daviess County's basketball squad knock off Meade County by a tally of 68-51.
With the victory, Daviess County improves its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Fort Campbell (Fort Campbell, KY) to play the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 26. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. Fort Campbell lost 75-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Caldwell County (Princeton, KY)
Next up, the Green Waves play the Breckinridge County Fighting Tigers (Harned, KY) in a District 11 challenge, on Friday, January 26. Meade County will attempt to improve on its 7-10 season record. The Fighting Tigers come into the challenge with a 6-10 record after their 80-48 non-league loss to Central Hardin (Cecilia, KY).
